68 in rating, why!?
Narrative
It tells the story of three very different families competing to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style villa that they think will solve all their problems. Denis Leary and Ray Romano both starred in the Ice Age franchise (2002-present).
I’d give it an 85 if possible
I binged the whole thing in a 24-hour period. Okay, it’s a little cheesy at times, but I really like the cast and the acting, it feels warm and sincere, and the murder mystery is interesting enough with a little twist without it all being doom and gloom.
Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed
The story is light and fun, but it has a certain darkness to it due to the main plot. Like a nice, but not too expensive, piece of dark chocolate covered in strawberry frosting.
Don’t expect a crime drama or true realism
This is a captivating comedy with a dark twist. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
