Read MoreAcclaimed conductor Thibaut has leukemia and needs a bone marrow donor. After learning that he was adopted, he finds his older brother, a musician and a factory worker. Their reunion sparks a brotherly, musical journey after the town of Music B.V. closes. Director Emmanuel Courcol masterfully crafts a bittersweet comedy that flows effortlessly, much like the music itself. The plot is simple: two brothers, separated at birth, reunite as adults. One is a renowned orchestra conductor, the other a chef. For one, music means a flourishing career; for the other, it is a hard-earned passion sustained in a bleak village in northern France. Despite their contrasting lives, their shared love of music forges an unbreakable bond. Music, with its universal language, unites and breaks down barriers between individuals. The film also conveys a poignant message of empathy, solidarity and brotherhood – a message that seems more vital today than ever.
