A life-affirming, genre-bending story based on Stephen King's novella about three chapters in the life of an ordinary man named Charles Krantz.. Tom Hiddleston, Karen Gillan, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and David Dastmalchian have all appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, although none of them share any scenes together. Hiddleston is Loki and is most associated with the Thor (2011) movies and Loki (2021) television series, Gillan is Nebula and most associated with the Čuvari galaxy (2014) movies, Ejiofor is Baron Mordo from the Doctor Strange (2016) movies, while Dastmalchian is Kurt from the first 2 Ant-Man movies and Web in Ant-Man and Wasp: Kvantumanija (2023)..
It’s really hard to explain but Flanagan doesn’t waste a single shot
Summed up, Mike Flanagan made a deep, multilayered yet beautiful film about the value of life. There is a narration throughout the movie, yet right from 'Act Three,' everything seen and experienced unfolds perfectly in 'Act One.' Ejiofor & Gillan is fantastic in Act Three but if The Life of Chuck is to be nominated for anything, it has to be the sound. From the cosmic elements in 'Act Three' to the dancing scenes in 'Acts Two & One,' Flanagan did an exceptional job incorporating the sound throughout.
Taylor Gordon is a talent in herself in her brief, but excellent role
Of course, everyone was focusing on Hiddleston and his character, but Tom even mentioned it was really a team effort in Act Two and Annalize Basso, Hiddleston’s dance partner in Act Two, and Taylor Gordon (who is in the credits as The Pocket Queen), the busker, all three combined with their choreographers Mandy Moore & Stephanie Powell really makes the dance scene sing. What surprised me was how Act One was with young Chuck and no one talks about how excellent the kids were. Their performances were just as brilliant as the adults, if not more so when young Chuck receives a very haunting monologue from his grandfather (an unbelievable Mark Hamill) about certain choices in life.
Stephen King is right when he says The Life of Chuck is one of the good ones
Act One really helps put the puzzle together that was Act Three, where the cosmic elements can be off-putting, but it all serves a purpose. The spirit and energy is felt from beginning to end, and with all on board performances giving their best, Flanagan is further establishing himself as one of contemporary’s greater directors. One thing I will say is The Life of Chuck is dedicated In Memory to Scott Wampler.
And there are a few cameos in The Life of Chuck but Scott’s inclusion just tugged me right at the heart
Great movie.

Men and women live in a giant silo underground, where various rules apply to protect them from the toxic, destroyed world above. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are what science fiction is all about… Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of the book “Lana”; the book is 82 chapters long.
This rotation neither pushes nor pulls air
Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 TV Shows You Should Binge-Watch in 2023 (2023). There are plenty of post-apocalyptic series to choose from, but Silo is one of the best to come out in a long time.
Well, I can tell you that this series has certainly not only met those expectations but exceeded them in every way
I’ve never read the books (or even heard of them), but I’ve been looking forward to it ever since I first heard about it, and my expectations have grown even higher after watching the trailers. It’s probably best to watch it in one sitting because with so many cliffhangers it’s hard to wait a week to see what happens next.
There are so many great twists and turns that will keep you glued to every episode
I’m glad they renewed it so quickly because this series can continue to be exciting for at least a few more seasons. I also hate it when I get involved in a series that then gets cancelled without a proper ending.
