After a hazing incident at their elite college, step-siblings Caroline and Lucien decide to preserve their power and reputation by seducing the daughter of the Vice President of the United States. The direct-to-video sequel Written Names 2 (2000), with Amy Adams replacing Sarah Michelle Gellar as Kathryn Merteuil, was originally a scripted TV series before being re-edited into a feature film. Gellar would later reprise her role as Kathryn in 2016 for the NBC pilot Cruel Intentions (2016), which was not ordered to series.

The worst part is the guy playing Lucien. He looks like he’s 14 and is neither suave nor dapper. In the scene where he catches the eye of the VP’s daughter, he comes across as a kid trying to be Ferris Bueller.

Maybe they should have visited some colleges to get some perspective

There are some redeeming characters, but not enough to keep you watching. I miss the days when a movie or series didn’t intentionally try to cover all its bases, including all social demographics and sexual preferences. Or at least do it in a way that didn’t feel forced.

In US Government agencies, including those in the Intelligence Community and the Department Of Defense, the correct/official explanation of the acronym "OBE" is "Overcome By Events".. The highlight of The Agency is Michael Fassbender, great actor and convincing in his role as a field agent coming home after being undercover for so long. The acting as a whole I give 8/10.

Even the smallest characters did a good job so far (Apart from these smallest characters trying to be smart)There are several story lines woven together, not sure where it would lead just yet at the end of the 2nd episode

So, it's a good thing, being unpredictable.The soundtrack, good. Nice touch with the song -Love is Blindness.You can see that a good budget went into this, of course with movie actors it's obvious but more so due to the locations selected and how some of the action sequences were filmed. Seemed like a good movie.Enjoyed it thoroughly, I might be biased though, Michael Fassbender is one of my favorite actors.

In The Day of the Jackal (1973), the Jackal also drives a white Alfa Romeo, albeit an older model. This would have been a great cat-and-mouse chase if the female lead had been anyone else, literally anyone else. The way she portrays the detective makes the viewer, at least this one, not want to root for her.

I don’t like her or care about her

She comes across as a mean, cold, all-knowing, selfish woman. Yes, she’s on the police force and what she does is right, but the way she does it is horrible! For that reason, I feel like many of us who watch this show will root for the Jackal.

And I know I’m not the only one

He is everything she is not, even though he is a murderer. I don’t want her to succeed in her mission and I don’t want the Jackal to get caught. I don’t think it should be that way, but that’s how I feel.

From the looks of it, she’s close to him

Unfortunately, if she succeeds, it will make me stop watching this show. And that’s a shame, because he’s amazing in this!
