I saw that this was getting good reviews
I mean, it’s based on a video game, since when has that ever been better than acceptable? But still, this is one of the best shows I’ve watched in a long time. I just saw the first episode of the new adaptation of the Wheel of Time and was looking for something else to watch, and it just happened. It grew on me quickly and I finished the entire season in one go. Arcane does everything right that so many shows and movies fail at these days.
And they never once feel the need to put the men down to show how cool they are
They respect all of their characters, making sure you understand why they do what they do and empathize with them. They take the time to draw you into the story and world before major plot points happen so you can really feel their impact. They set things up well in advance and make sure to provide a proper payoff so nothing feels rushed or cheap. And something that is very rare these days; they are not afraid to make all their characters flawed and allow them to fail, regardless of their gender or how strong they are supposed to be. This is a show with two female leads who can beat anyone, and neither of them feels like they don’t deserve it.
A special mention goes to the animators
Attention, creators of other shows, so you write strong characters regardless of gender that the audience can relate to. Kudos to you for creating characters that communicate both strong and subtle emotions more clearly than most real actors can. And kudos to the voice actors and music choices, both excellent. Overall, a very enjoyable show that gives hope for future entertainment, and I can’t wait for season 2. Immerse yourself in these modern, heartwarming stories where animals go on fascinating journeys from the far north of France and its Northern Lights to Japan to spread joy and generosity where the magic of Christmas knows no bounds. The art is simple, charming, beautiful, and hand-drawn. The film consists of 5 different short stories, each story is simple, has some funny moments, some heartwarming moments, and cute characters. Each short story teaches the kids something (for example, shows the kids how much we damage the forest so we can keep the Christmas trees for a few days/weeks). By the end of the 3rd part, the 5 year old was bored. The 6 year old loved part 1, part 5, and snowflakes. In my opinion, they are too old for the film, a 3-4 year old would probably enjoy it. The actors and actresses who dubbed the film had a very easy job, the characters only say a few words.
