Narrative

A chemistry teacher diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer turns to manufacturing and selling methamphetamine with a former student to secure his family's future.. Celebrate fan-favorite series "Breaking Bad" by revisiting some of the most memorable scenes.. During the hiatus caused by the writers' strike, creator Vince Gilligan, impressed by Aaron Paul's portrayal of Jesse as well as everybody just liking Paul, decided to reinstate the character and have Jesse's fate be given to another character in the finale of the first season.. In the opening credits, letters in the names of the cast and crew are highlighted in green to represent chemical element symbols. However, the "Ch" in Michael Slovis' name was highlighted in several early episodes, even though Ch is not a chemical element symbol.

Story

In flashbacks, a family joins a cosmic cult promising salvation on Jupiter. As their past unravels their struggles, their teenage daughter must choose between following her parents into the cult or forging her own path on Earth.

Jupiter is a finely crafted film that manages to draw us into the inner world of a teenage girl, grappling not only with the challenges of self-doubt, but also the ordeal of her disabled younger brother and her parents’ descent into madness. During a discussion after the film, it occurred to me that the first comment was one of empathy for the parents.

I even noticed that many adults are beyond help

I had to counter that in the madness and horror of the world, children are tragically and inexplicably ignored. The director insisted that they had to be reintegrated into the “good democratic society”, and even that they are oblivious to their horrible acts (they have good intentions).

It won the YOUNG JURY PRIZE at the Sofia Film Festival for a film in the International Competition

However, his film seems not so much a dissection of the vulnerability of adults in trouble as an ode to that of children. P.S.
